As metallic as a new copper penny, Kyra hails from the royalty of American Akhal-Teke breeding, Phil & Margo Case’s program in Virginia. Unshown due to an early injury, Krya, is all that an Akhal-Teke mare can be: 15.1h, glowing metallic bay, refined, feminine head, hooded eye, exotic & typey, smooth striding, topped off with a gentle, trusting personality. Coming to us in retirement at age 18, Kyra is not expected to produce many foals, but what she does we expect to become part of the foundation of our breeding program. Kyra’s pedigree includes Kir Sakar, Skak, Gelishikli, and a pinch of English Thoroughbred. Kyra carries the dun and sabino genes and should produce beautiful typey, colorful foals. |
